Robotics Mentorship Programs

We've run this mentorship for five years. We paused it for the past year due to limited bandwidth — now, marking six years at RigBetel, we're reopening it for a limited batch.

A cohort-based, instructor-led program covering ROS2, robotic arms, simulation, and humanoids — built by the same team shipping autonomous systems for clients right now.

Choose Your Course

ROS, Navigation & SLAM

Go from zero ROS2 experience to deploying intelligent mobile robots — hands-on with TortoiseBot and AMRs across eight project-based sections. Build your own robot in URDF and Gazebo, then map, navigate, see, and respond to plain-English commands on real hardware.

WHAT YOU'LL LEARN

ROS2 from scratch — workspaces, nodes, topics, and launch files

Build your own robot in URDF and Gazebo, with LiDAR, IMU, and camera sensors

SLAM mapping and Nav2 autonomous navigation with real-time obstacle avoidance

AI perception (OpenCV) and LLM-commanded navigation — “go to the kitchen”

DURATION

25–30 hrs

FORMAT

Live, instructor-led

Manipulation & Control

Nine sections from ROS2 fundamentals through kinematics and motion planning with MoveIt2, ending in vision- and language-guided pick-and-place. Then go further with LeRobot: teleoperate, collect demonstrations, and train an imitation-learning policy on real hardware.

WHAT YOU'LL LEARN

ROS2 foundations through kinematics — forward/inverse kinematics and reachable workspace

Motion planning with MoveIt2 — collision-aware pick-and-place in simulation

Vision-guided and language-driven manipulation — “pick the blue one”

LeRobot imitation learning — teleoperate, collect demos, train and deploy a policy

DURATION

25–30 hrs

FORMAT

Live, instructor-led

Humanoids & Quadrupeds

Nine modules take you from legged-robot fundamentals — gaits, stability, degrees of freedom — through the Unitree SDK and ROS2 to teleoperation and autonomous navigation. Finish by deploying the same application on real Unitree G1 and GO2 hardware.

WHAT YOU'LL LEARN

Legged-robot fundamentals — gaits, stability, and degrees of freedom

Unitree SDK and ROS2 — read robot state, publish commands, teleoperate

Simulate behaviors in Isaac Sim / Gazebo before touching real hardware

Deploy the same ROS2 application to real Unitree G1 and GO2 robots

DURATION

25–30 hrs

FORMAT

Live, instructor-led

Digital Twins & Physical AI

No prior simulation experience needed. Ten modules take you from the Isaac Sim interface and USD fundamentals through physics, Python scripting, and Action Graphs, ending with a full warehouse simulation you build from an empty stage.

WHAT YOU'LL LEARN

Isaac Sim fundamentals — USD, scene creation, and asset management

Physics simulation — rigid bodies, colliders, joints, and constraints

Control robots with Python scripting and Action Graphs

Build a full warehouse simulation, from an empty stage to a working robot

DURATION

25–30 hrs

FORMAT

Live, instructor-led
